JG W16-A2 Airsoft Gun..The M-16 A2 Version

An m16 airsoft gun with a one piece upper receiver which means you can’t remove the carry handle. It’s a more classic look. Nice thing though this version has some sort of JG logo to it as you can see on the pictures. A simpler hand grip plate with an honest to goodness “Made In China” markings

The gearbox…Just another marking here that says, SB. The same over greased internals. The only problem I had with these gearbox are the torque screws. Unlike my JG m16-a4, the torque screws we’re so tight it broke my precision screw driver. I had to get a real torque wrench size T-08, the ones used by most Cell-Phone technicians. It took me quite awhile to get the darn thing because I forgot to bring a sample screw. I bought the wrong size of wrench at first so I had to go back and get the right one. Once opened up, there behold the grease. yet the same parts of the JG m16-a4. Had to drill bigger holes for the piston head, refitted the stock cylinder head, etc etc.
The hop-up…It was so greased up the bb’s can’t get in during test fire. So I had to clean it up and fully repacked the hop-up for a 99.9 % sealing. Hopefully, using some techniques I learned from my Gunsmith teammate as well as adding some of my owned discovered/enhanced techniques of gunsmithing airsoft guns.
