Cheap Airsoft Guns

The M50P has been labeled as the Ultimate Bolt Action Airsoft Spring Rifle. Since this is the first metal springer from China I think that title is undisputed and in many respect well deserved.

The majority of this gun is metal. Only the stock and trigger guard are ABS, the rest of the gun is metal. New silent bolt makes this the quietest airsoft gun around for IDEAL sniping.

Claims of high power pin-point accuracy performance have to be field tested (I don’t have the range at home).

The box clearly says that the bipod is not included. The gun comes with a 3 point Tactical Sling, aimpoint type red dot (for a sniper rifle?), Laser Aiming Module, BB Loader, cleaning rod, and some screws I still don’t know what for (only 3 screws needed to attach the upper and lower receiver).

Units I tested average around 360fps. I disassemble the hop-up chamber and wonder when China will ever listen and/or learn. The plastic hop chamber will come off by giving the inner barrel a few mild shakes. Fixing the problem with with teflon tape velocity shoots up by 40-50 fps.

The inner barrel masures 6.1mm but I suspect it is around 6.1-6.15mm as digital calipers (no matter what brand) appears to read inner diameters a little short. A tight bore should add some 20-30fps. I base this on the fact that replacing 6.08mm inner barrels with 6.04mm tigh bore can squeeze some 5-10fps out of an aeg. With the DE M50, we will be
replacing a 6.1-6.15mm inner barrel with a 6.04mm so the effect should be higher.

That’s all I could do for now. The cylinder head and rear is attached to the cyliner by 4 rectangular holes punched onto the cylinder to hold the cylinder head in front and the bolt in the rear. There appears to be no simple way to dissassemble and reassemble the cylinder. Look at the pic beside to see what I mean.

I don’t see anyway the cylinder can be dismantled without damaging the punch-lock system or whatever it is called (certainly not upgrade nor user-frienfly). I guess modification of this super airsoft rifle is left for those with the necessary tools and those with some knowledge of machine works. A custom cylinder perhaps?
