Tokyo Marui G36C Airsoft Gun Review

Just by looking at this airsoft gun, you’ll certainly immediately notice the small size of it, even with it’s butt unfolded. After folding the butt you’ll feel that your holding an mp5k pdw on steroids coz it will immediately become amazingly short in length.
Holding the gun, I immediately noticed it’s rock solid feel in my hands. This is my first “hi-end” AEG so i wouldn’t know the difference with other “hi-end” models. I didn’t feel any part of it to have any wobbles. The battery compartment is secured tightly with a metal pin. The battery compartment however is quite small which makes it impossible to fit sub-c batts. The safety switch gives a distinct clicking sound when putting it to and from safety - semi - full auto. When folding the stock, it will securely lock on to a plastic part on the body which I fear will eventually loosen due to usual wear and tear. The magazine also doesn’t wobble when you load it in the mag receiver. This baby also houses a sturdy version 3 gearbox and an EG1000 motor.
As for the accesories. I though I was gonna get a whole lot of this. But sad to say it only comes with a lower railing. But the handguard already has some hard points to attach some rails. The gun comes ready with a standard 50 rounder magazine that has some quite realistic looking 5.56mm dummy rounds design. But we all know that wouldn’t do. So I got a hi-cap mag and now it loads 470 rounds.
Now the performance… It clocked at 285fps bone stock. After 4 and 1/2 hours. I modified the following:
- Spring Guide with bearing
- Systema Piston Head with bearing
- Guarder Airseal Nozzle.
- SP140 spring.
- STU hellical gears.
- Prometheus Oiless Metal Bushings.
And now she’s spitting out .20 BB’s at an average of 430fps.
